OK - here we go again with the "Governator"...
After having ridden the 'train of opportunity" into Sacramento during the last period of blinding insanity to hit California (I refer, of course, to the ill-advised recall election fomented by Right-wing idealogs who HATED that they couldn't win in California legitimately),
Arnold now teases us with his famous line "Ah'l be back" meaning, of course, that he has tasted the "good life" in the Governator's mansion, and can't wait to "represent the people" for another term - "Represent the People" - yeah, right - but WHICH people?
The blundering attempts of this ex-movie star buffoon to implement his view of how "Kal-ee-for-nya" should be run "for the people" are painful to watch, and would be laughable if they weren't so pathetic, and dangerous.
Arnold claims to represent the people, yet he has taken more special interest contributions that GREY DAVIS!!!
ISN'T THIS THE GUY WHO CLAIMED HE DIDN'T NEED "MONEY FROM SPECIAL INTERESTS?"
Guess your interpretation of who "special interests" are changes once inauguration day has come and gone, eh Mr. Governator?
And to promulgate this "will-of-the-people" government style, "we, the people" get saddled with the multi-million dollar expense (which we can ill afford) of mounting a special election JUST to put forth the Governor's failed legislative agenda as "intiatives" which we can approve or not - of course, the multi-million dollar HYPE campaign surrounding the ballot initiatives only serves to CONFUSE the issue, as the SPIN from noth sides is positively overwhelming!
HOW CAN AN ORDINARY CITIZEN ATTEMPT TO FIND THE TRUTH HIDING IN A CACOPHONY OF POLITICAL TV ADS?
It's hard indeed -
In his short time in office, Schwartzenegger has managed to misstep most of the way, and piss off the very folks he has claimed he represents - when challenged by the teachers, whose classroom funds he has ripped off to the tune of Billion$ and refuses to return, his response is to offer a ballot initiative that will punish them, and prevent them from being politically acive (meaning, challenging him in the future!). and just to make sure that organized labor doesn't mount an effective voice against him, which they have been startng to do, certain "impediments" to political contributions are being plotted for those unions.
HOW DARE ANYONE OPPOSE THIS GOVERNOR?
Well, it's called FREE SPEECH< Mr. Governor, and it's our duty as citizens to call 'em the way we see 'em - and we DO'T LIKE THE WAY WE SEE THEM!
Arnold is BAD for "KAL-EE-FOR-NYA". Find someone else, PLEASE!
And God forbid we allow "them" to change the constitution and make him eligible to bamboozle this ENTIRE NATION as "PREZ-EE-DENT" in a future election (this would drive the Republicans into paroxyms of glee)
NO FOREIGN-BORN PRESIDENTS, PLEASE!
AMERICA NEEDS AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT
(except we'd gladly give the one we have now to any third-world nation that will have him)
