Republican Hypocrisy - STAGGERING!

It should have been required television viewing for all citizens today: to watch house Republicans, one after another, taking their place in front of the microphones and cameras, and BLATANTLY MOUTHING UNTRUTHFUL TALKING POINTS, carefully crafted to sound "patriotic".

But none of their cynical platitudes or exhortations to "start over" can answer one important question:

IF REPUBLICANS REALLY WANTED TO ENACT HEALTH CARE REFORM, WHY DIDN'T THEY DO SOMETHING WHILE YOU WERE IN POWER?

The sad answer is that they were too busy lining their pockets with campaign contributions, and protecting the interests of their wealthy contributors, who FEAR the truth - that health care reform will severely limit the ability of Big Med and Big Pharma to financially bleed ordinary Americans.

Republicans be advised:
We, the People, have met our enemy, and we KNOW it is YOU

Do Republicans REALLY think AMERICANS are THIS STUPID?

Apparently, they do!

Judging by the nonstop propaganda onslaught that has been unleashed in the past few weeks in a desperate attempt to stop President Obama's agenda to FIX what the Republicans have screwed up in this nation ever since Regan was elected, there is NO DEPTH to which the Republicans will not stoop.

Every day, the mantra is the same - "Americans do not want the health insurance reform bill", even though we have made it abundantly clear that we DO want it.

"Reconciliation has never been used before - it's a trick - a gimmick". History tells us this statement is A LIE.

Reconciliation and "Deem and Pass" are NOT tricks or gimmicks, they were used by THE REPUBLICANS many times to pass things THEY wanted to pass.

So, no; that lie won't work this time.

Lies abound from Conservative mouths everywhere - especially from those Congresscritters with (R) after their names. The unified Republican voices calling for us to "Kill The Bill", are disguising their REAL reason for doing so: they want their fat cat insurance and pharma contributors to CONTINUE TO BLEED AMERICANS through ever-increasing insurance premiums, with ever-decreasing benefits.

If you live in California, good luck getting an individual policy from Anthem-Blue Cross.
Similar red-lining and recission policies abound in other states as well.

The Republicans have succeeded in creating an environment where big businesses prosper and thrive, with unprecedented profits, at the expense of the middle class which is being treated as a giant checkbook to be siphoned dry by these predatory corporations.

TIME FOR YOU TO TAKE A STAND - DEMAND THAT YOUR ELECTED CONGRESSPEOPLE SUPPORT HEALTH INSURANCE REFORM TODAY -

it's the FIRST step in holding America's companies more resposible to the needs of Americans.

Once again, Republican Bullsh*t bamboozles America

The election of Senator-elect Brown is an indication of just how far the Democratic party has fallen from the perception of grace, BASED MOSTLY UPON THE REPUBLICANS NON-STOP "NAY-SAYING".

By continually gumming up the works in Washington, the GOP has created a "Washington can't get anything done" scenario that they can rail against, EVEN WHEN IT IS OF ONE THEIR ONE CREATION!

Running against a lukewarm, at best, Democratic candidate in Martha Coakley, the Republicans seized on Democratic themes, positioning themselves (disingenuously) as the "solution" to big government, when they are, in fact the CAUSE of the problem they are running and claim they can solved.

Truly, this is Bizarro land.

In another sad note, the Supreme Court's ruling this morning to allow endless corporate money to be spent in influencing Federal elections is a BAD OMEN for America. If you thought the damage done to America by Bush & Co. ended with the inauguration of President Obama, think again. The conservatives embedded into the government and not yet rooted out by the Obama administration have succeeded in suborning Democracy, and the conservative justices appointed to the Supreme by George W. Bush are continuing their mission to undermine small-d democracy by enhancing the power of BIG CORPORATIONS - which is the LAST THING WE NEED IN THIS NATION!

It's time for everyone in the middle class to MAKE THEIR VOICES HEARD to their elected representatives - and tell them, in no uncertain terms, "IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THE MIDDLE CLASS, YOU WILL BE VOTED OUT AT THE NEXT ELECTION".

It's time for a peaceful voter-driven revolution in America - we're in GREAT DANGER of the CORPORATIONS RUNNING THE PLACE, which will be the death of the American Dream.
