WILL THE REAL JOHN ROBERTS PLEASE EMERGE FROM HIDING?

Hi again

How can we allow appointment of the HIGHEST JURIST IN THE LAND to someone who we really do not know?

Would you allow your daughter to marry someone who is as much of a mystery as this guy?
well, you probably would, if he had as much money as John Roberts, but we don't appoint our Supremes based on how wealthy they are (do we?) - but instead by how well we believe they will acquit themselves as custodians of the Nations Judicial Power.

Roberts scares me - not because he isn't polished, poised, and professional, but precisely BECAUSE of that - he's TOO POLISHED - TOO POISED - and most of all, just like this administration, TOO SECRETIVE -

Why didn't the White House release the thousands of pages of memos written when Roberts worked for Bush 41? Because they're smart enough to know that they DON'T WANT YOU TO SEE WHAT WENT ON BEHIND THE SCENES while Duby's Daddy was in office -
You can bet there were a LOT of shenanigans going on there, but they will remain safely hidden, since THIS WHITE HOUSE KNOWS WHAT'S GOOD FOR US TO SEE, right?

WRONG - REJECT ROBERTS - let's have a Justice on the Bench who can successfully bridge the left AND the right, and impartially administer to the needs of America, without pursuing a hidden (or unseen and unknown) agenda.

Absent proof to the contrary, we must ALWAYS ASSUME that what we don't know WILL HURT US, eventually... The White House refuses to release Roberts' papers because there is the PROOF in there of his real judicial temperament, NOT this polished and empty performance before the Senate Judiciary Committee - You were right Senator Biden - a "Kabuki Theater" it was indeed!

In this case, with a likely 30 year lifespan on the bench, who knows how many things we have come to take for granted and cherish will be swept away by Duby's (Roberts') "activist" (meaning "actively") conservative court -
after all, power only makes sense if you USE IT WHILE YOU HAVE IT -
Do you really think the G.O.P. will let this opporutinity to "remake America" (in their image) go away without taking fullest advantage - you do?

Wow - you're more asleep that I thought you were -

of course, that's just MY opinion...
